Great basics book. Gets you used to terminology and has many tools listed for hacking across the board. However, if you follow this book verbatim threats will always be one step ahead, as is the going rate with security. Not a bad read.

This book provides a good overview of the objectives of the CEH. However, if you’re looking for a study guide that provides more than a high-level preview of the exam content, this is not the book for you.
